2021-2022 Service Projects
April 8th, 2022 / Kenya Sister Parish and #theSTSdifference...
Led by Miss Dohrmann/5th grade, STS students, faculty and staff came together in support of our sister parish, St. Cecilia in Kenya! We gathered $521.00 in donations for their Easter celebration with the help of the STS 5th grade students and STS Family!
March 21st, 2022 / #LotsOfSocks and #WorldDownSyndromeDay
STS students, faculty and staff took part in the annual “Crazy Sock Day” supporting World Down Syndrome Day and collected $270.00 in donations.
March 11th, 2022 / Awareness Day for 11th Hour Rescue
Created by three dedicated fourth grade students... they inspired STS students, faculty and staff to come together and donated two pickup trucks full of needed items to 11th Hour Rescue!
March 3rd, 2022 / Awareness Day for Ukraine
This blue and yellow dress day was created to support the peope of Ukraine. Organized by one of our STS families, they delivered over $3,200.00 in donations to the Ukrainian Center in Whippany, where food and supplies will be bought and shipped to the people of Ukraine.
February 2022 / #CSW22 and #theSTSdifference...- Led by Ms. Taylor/2nd grade... STS students, Faculty and Staff wore blue in support of the Troopers United Foundation. We gathered $805.00 in donations for the #troopersunitedfoundation! The Troopers United Foundation (TUF) was created by dedicated NJ State Police Troopers to be of assistance to any and all Troopers, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders, and their respective families, in the event of a tragedy or illness. - With two vans full of food donations and monetary donations delivered by Ms. Candy and Mr. Bernie... STS students, faculty and staff supported our local community via these generous donations to Roxbury Social Services.
- Led by Mrs. Cornish/6th grade... STS students, Faculty and Staff wore “Red, White and Blue”, held a virtual flag-raising ceremony with the help of our Scouts! We gathered $520.00 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Visit woundedwarriorproject.org to learn more!
- STS Math-A-Thon for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! $4,490.00 in STS Student, Family, Faculty, Staff and Friend donations!
